The French love biking and this is an incredible way to view the spectacular countryside and woods. One guest family we had stay recently rode through a 30 kilometre cycle route recommended by the Tourist Information Bureau around Cheverney and they claimed it was incredibly easygoing with hardly any traffic even in August and absolutely beautiful with sunflowers on one side and vineyards on the other with a sprinkling of chateaux and stunning maisons in between. Even their eight year old said she thought it was beautiful.
