Castle Wedding Reception

At our wedding chateau, you hold your wedding reception within the castle and not in a converted outbuilding like some other wedding venues.

Chateau Wedding Venue

We have two grand reception rooms within the chateau - the Grand Salon and the Grand Dining Room. These rooms have the exact same dimensions and can seat up to 40 guests each. These rooms are separated by the Grand Hall with the Louis XV staircase and the black and white stone floor which is fantastic for dancing or to be used as reception room too. Our reception rooms have floor to ceiling windows for natural light to stream into your wedding reception.



Wedding cocktails, champagne and canapes can be taken on the lake terrace. If you are unfortunate enough to not be blessed with glorious weather this can be moved into the Grand Hall.

Wedding Reception - Dos and Don'ts

We do want our clients to have the wedding of their dreams which will not break their budget. We can recommend a team of highly experienced very reasonably priced independent wedding vendors. Your wedding planner will put together a bespoke affordable wedding package for you.

Questions and Answers

Our website is a true reflection of our chateau and the services we offer. In fact one-half of our destination wedding clients even book the chateau sight unseen.

Can I bring my own caterer, wedding planner, photograher, hair and make-up person? - Absolutely.

Can I have my ceremony outside? Yes you can on the lawn, the carriage drive or under a 100 year old oak tree.

Can I have a religious ceremony? Yes your wedding planner can arrange any type of ceremony for you.

Can I decorate the chateau and chapel with my guests? - Yes you can.

Is there a curfew? Other families live on the estate as well and we ask that the music be turned down after 10.00 and that it not be audible outside the chateau at all after midnight. We just ask that you respect our neighbours peace and privacy .

What table clothes and linen are provided? You can have white or beige table clothes and white, red, yellow or green napkins. Our chair covers are white. We recommend you pick chair sashes to compliment your theme.

What decorative items can be provided? Wedding planners usually have a selection of vases of various heights, mirrored bases and tea light votifs and table number frames.

What music solution do you provide? Your wedding planner can advise you on music options
