French Wedding Castle Review

Having just recently returned from honeymoon we wanted to write and say a huge thank you to you and all the staff at Chateau du Guerinet for making our Wedding day a true fairytale! We were both so thrilled with how the day went, it far exceeded any of our expectations.

From the moment we just visited Chateau du Guerinet we were both very impressed with how beautifully the building has been restored and maintained, and feel very privileged to have had our wedding in such an incredibly romantic venue. We have so many wonderful memories of the day to treasure, and we are now struggling to narrow down the selection of photos for our album because there are so many fabulous photographs!

Since the day we have heard nothing but praise from family and friends about how the day went. The food was great, the service was exemplary, the venue spectacularly breathtaking and the horse drawn carriage absolutely stunning. We would gladly highly recommend Chateau du Guerinet to anyone wanting a day to remember!

You have a truly amazing place at Chateau du Guerinet and we had the most incredible day. Our guests were texting us as they arrived to say how wonderfully romantic it was. It was evident how much work had gone into preparing the reception room as it was in every way as good, if not better, than we could have wished for or expected. The food was delicious - and the wine flowed; We had a truly magical day that I am sure will feature in conversations for some time yet.

We have been inundated by letters and telephone calls from our guests expressing their thanks for the day and none go without comment on your chateau. There is so much to be thankful for that made our wedding day truly fantastic. A smile will always appear at the mention of our wedding, not just because of its significance in our lives but also by the fond memories of the day. We are extremely grateful to you and Chateau du Guerinet, thank you.

To all those involved in the planning, preparation and service for Kirstin and Martin's castle wedding, we offer a huge 'Thank you'. The day was perfect and much was due to your immaculate organisation and team work which allowed the wedding party to just enjoy our individual roles. Our guests have all commented on how well it went, and the ambience of the chateau, the chapel and the horse drawn carriage was all that Kirstin my daughter had hoped for on her special day. The newly-weds returned from their honeymoon and we are now looking forward to sharing with them memories of this joyous occasion.

A huge thank you for making our day the best of our lives. I couldn't have imagined that it would have been as fabulous as it was. Everything from the wedding service, the Cinderella carriage, the tables, to the meal, to the way the whole day flowed seamlessly, was perfect. Everyone was buzzing and haven't stopped talking and phoning about all the little details that made the day brilliant. We could go on and on and I'm sure the day at your wedding chateau will be talked about by all of the guests for a long time yet.

"Our wedding at the Chateau du Guerinet was a dream come true. From the first time we saw the chateau, we were just very impressed and to top it off, the cost met our budget, which was very important for us. We rented the chateau for a week for what we were quoted to rent a national trust castle in the U.K for a day. The wedding staff were excellent to work with and they accommodated our every need and fulfilled our vision for our special day. The reception dinner was amazing. Everything about the chateau was above and beyond our expectations and our guests still refer to the event as The Wedding of the Century!"

As guests of Lauryne and Will, both Marianne and I feel we would like to put 'pen to paper' to let you and your staff know our feelings towards the way in which we felt the marriage was conducted by you all. Firstly the estate, steeped in so much history. Immaculate comes to mind. The grounds all so lovingly attended, even being attended to on the morning of the wedding. The accommodation, so warm clean and inviting, absolutely great. All facilities, there, ready and available. The staff, well what can we say. 'The experience was brilliant'. The team you have under your guidance are to say the very least, dedicated, enthusiastic, warm and of attitude, nothing is too much trouble. Catering, both the quality and presentation of food was exquisite. Table service, the timely manner in which your staff delivered the service was impeccable. Quite something to experience. The horse drawn carriage, the private chapel, so wonderfully romantic and absolutely lovely.

To say the least, the professionalism of the entire establishment is to the highest order. In reflection we have thought in depth about our weekend, and have tried to identify areas you could improve on. We have been unable to do this.

To find such a special wedding castle venue in France where the hosts are Australian was truly a pleasant surprise. There were no language barriers we thought we would have had to deal with if we had engaged any other french wedding venues. To stay an entire week allowed for all the preparations at the chateau with our family (with many pre celebrations!) made it a relaxing and wonderful time for all.

As a final comment, we would like to thank you Corina and Dave for the experience. Please do convey our thanks to all your staff for all the hard work, we do know what would have gone on behind the scene's to enable the delivery of this absolutely beautiful experience. Thank you so much.

We would firstly like to thank you, Corina for your patience, kindness, and for all of your help leading up to and on our wedding day. You certainly helped to keep our stress levels at a minimum by being there when we needed you to answer any questions that we had and for responding so promptly to my numerous emails!

When we came to Chateau du Guerinet to look around for the first time, we fell in love with it. It is an absolutely stunning venue and we just felt so comfortable and could certainly imagine getting married there! Not that we are used to being in such opulent surroundings!

Our wedding day was absolutely magical, a dream come true, and we would like to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for helping to make it so.
